Chongqing skill elites received good results

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the evening of June 26, the closing ceremony of the Second “Belt and Road” International Skills Competition was successfully held in Chongqing. There were 190 participants from 61 countries and regions. After two days of fierce skills competition, there were a total of 18 gold, silver and bronze medals, and 41 awards. In the Chinese delegation, there were 4 Chongqing competitors who all won good results.
They are: Qin Hui who won the Gold Medal in Beauty Competition Event, Xiong Zhe who won the Gold Medal in Coffee Making Competition Event, Chen Quan who won the Gold Medal in Rail Signal Control Technology Competition Event and Lai Siyin who won the Silver Medal in Digital Construction Competition Event.
Xiong Zhe, who participated in the Coffee Making Competition Event, said in the interview that “I’m very excited and happy to win the Gold Medal and live up to my efforts!” Xiong Zhe said that winning the gold medal is not the end, but a new starting point; and in the future, he will endeavor to push Chinese coffee beans abroad and let the aroma of China cross the ocean.
Chen Quan, who participated in the Rail Signal Control Technology Competition Event, also expressed his gratitude for the competition, saying that “I am very happy to win the gold medal! My original intention to participate in the competition is to ‘teach by word and example’, to experience the field, to train more students, to serve our motherland with skills, and to go abroad.” Chen Quan said that he will not forget the original intention, serve the country with skills, choose one thing and spend a lifetime on it.
Qin Hui, who participated in the Beauty Competition Event, expressed her gratitude to her team and family after winning the gold medal, saying that “It’s their support and encouragement that have brought me this far.” Qin Hui also said that success is not a matter of individual effort, but the support of the team; and in the future, she will continue improving her professional skills, providing better service to beauty seekers, and going to a better stage on behalf of the country.
Li Siyin, who participated in the Digital Construction Competition Event, was also pleased to win the Silver Medal. She said: “The Digital Construction that I participated in continues changing the way we design, construct and manage buildings as a new force in the construction industry.” During the course of the competition, she deeply understood that in order to succeed in the field of digital construction, she also needs to have interdisciplinary knowledge, which is what she will work on in the future. She said: “After winning the award, I will continue deepening my professional knowledge and upgrading my skills to make my own contribution to building more efficient, environmentally friendly and smart buildings”.
