CHONGQING (CQNEWS) On June 26, the Second “Belt and Road” International Skills Competition and the Cooperation Dialogue of China-Africa (Chongqing) Vocational Education Alliance Themed on “Skills Connecting the Work and Creating the Future” were held in Chongqing Polytechnic University of Electronic Technology.
Before the Exchange, the teams from China, Seychelles and Tanzania visited Chongqing Polytechnic University of Electronic Technology together. At the intelligent vehicle networking metaverse research pilot base, foreign competitors were curious about the big screen in front of them.
What’s displayed on the screen is a high-tech picture that integrates the virtual and the real, and the scene in the picture is the detailed driving environment generated through the big data technology based on the driving record picture. In the screen, the roads, vehicles and other elements are realistically reproduced, which not only allows people to understand the driving environment more intuitively, but also provides more accurate data support for self-driving vehicles, thus improving driving safety.
During the process, Daniel Godfrey Mukung, a competitor from the Tanzanian team, told the reporter that “It looks really high-tech!”
Another competitor from the Tanzanian team, also said that he took a lot of photos during his visit and “I’m going to take them back and show them to my friends.”
While the commentary had moved on to the next part, a foreign competitor was still lingering in front of a small model of a driverless car, letting out some exclamations from time to time. “These models are so exquisite! I love this place full of technological fascination.” A competitor from the Seychelles team said that “This is the first time I come to Chongqing, but I am deeply in love with this place and I will come to Chongqing again next time when I have a chance.” (Translated by Vichy, Fathom Language Limited)
