CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- West Air has offered discounted air tickets, increased flight services, and improved service quality for the 2024 summer travel season starting on July 1 in Chongqing.

“Our one-way air tickets with taxes included are available as little as 900 yuan per person, and our round-trip flight tickets with taxes included start from as low as 1,500 yuan,” says Yang Haijun, Vice President of Marketing at West Air, adding that the carrier has offered discounted passenger flights between Chongqing and Hanoi for the upcoming summer travel season, which is part of the effort to facilitate travel for passengers between the two places.

The Chongqing-Hanoi route operated by West Air, the only direct passenger flight between Chongqing and Hanoi, commenced service on May 16. Using an A320 aircraft, the flight service will be available every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with a one-way flight duration of approximately two hours. Since its opening, the flight service has attracted many Vietnamese tourists to Chongqing. In the next step, West Air will offer more discounted direct flight tickets to facilitate passenger travel between the mountainous city and the ‘spring city with myriad flowers’.

West Air plans to resume the air routes for summer vacation, such as the Chongqing⇋Wulong⇋Nanjing and the Chongqing⇋Ganzhou⇋Tianjin air routes, providing travelers from Chongqing and its surrounding regions with more options for summer travel.

At the same time, West Air will offer diverse and multi-level service offerings, such as a 20-kilogram free baggage allowance for checked luggage and free snacks and beverages during the flight. West Air has continuously improved the passenger service experience based on passenger travel needs.

As an aviation company headquartered in Chongqing under Liaoning Fangda Group and Hainan Airlines, West Air has been actively participating in the economic and social development of Chongqing for 17 years since its establishment.
