CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 1, the road on the lower level of Chaotianmen Bridge was opened to traffic, with rail transit trains racing against cars on the same level of the deck.

The road on the lower level of Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge is connected to Fuxing Street in Nan'an District to the south and Jianggai Avenue in Jiangbei District to the north, and is a two-way two-lane carriageway with both road and track. At 10:00 a.m. that day, this road was officially opened to traffic.

It is worth noting that Trucks weighing 4.5 tons or more, motorcycles, and pedestrians are prohibited to use the road on the lower level of Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge.
