CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, Chongqing Cruise Center released big data on the Chongqing Two-river Cruise and the Yangtze River Three Gorges Cruise for the first half of 2024.

The data finds that the Two-river Cruise received 1.952 million tourists between January and June this year, up 13.4% from last year.

This June, the Two-river Cruise reported 306,000 tourist arrivals, 115.9% of the same period in 2023. 276,000 tourists chose night tours, accounting for 90.3% of these tourists.

The Chongqing Two-river Cruise attracted tourists across China from January to June 2024. To be specific, the number of tourists from Sichuan Province amounted to 330,000, accounting for 18.1% of the total tourists; the number of tourists from Shaanxi Province exceeded 110,000, representing 6.2%.

The Yangtze River Three Gorges Cruise is also favored by many out-of-town tourists.

During the period, the Yangtze River Three Gorges Cruise handled 2,477 cruise trips and served 575,900 tourists, respectively 107.04% and 94.46% of the same period in 2023.
