CQ Liangjiang New Area has signed 73 Sino-Singaporean cooperation projects

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- How to make algorithms turn into productivity for low-altitude economy? The signing of the low-altitude cloud eye platform jointly created by Chongqing Shenganwei Intelligent Internet of Things Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Chongqing Shenganwei) located in Liangjiang New Area, and Singapore Vilota was done at the Ninth Meeting of the Joint Implementation Committee of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity.
Gu Qiaoyu, Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Shenganwei, introduced that the platform was equipped with visual positioning sensors, binocular visual obstacle-avoidance sensors, AI edge box and other cool-technology products so that intelligent drones and robots have intelligent “binoculars”, operate in the existing space that is hard to reach by persons, and provide a support for various vertical applications of low-altitude economy, such as low-altitude logistics and low-altitude agriculture.
Currently, the two companies have completed the research and development of relevant equipment and will set up a laboratory at the NUS (Chongqing) Research Institute to promote technological exchanges between China and Singapore.
This is a microcosm of the deepening cooperation between Liangjiang New Area and Singapore. At the Ninth Meeting of the Joint Implementation Committee of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity in late June this year, 6 companies from Liangjiang New Area participated in the signing of 9 projects in total. By now, Liangjiang New Area has signed a total of 73 Sino-Singaporean cooperation projects, further solidifying its position as the core carrying area for the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity.
Based on the deepening cooperation, Liangjiang New Area is also continuing to promote Chongqing and Singapore to release the linkage effect.
Located at Guoyuan Port National Logistics Hub, China-Singapore Multimodal Transportation Base is the landmark cooperation outcome of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity in the field of transportation and logistics. Since its commissioning in June 2022, it has continued enhancing the multimodal transportation collaboration capacity and transit efficiency of international cargoes by introducing Singapore’s experience in the logistics sector and integrating international and domestic resources and elements such as the New International Land-sea Trade Corridor, China-Europe Railway Express (Chengdu-Chongqing), the Yangtze River Golden Waterway, Guoyuan Port and Jiangbei International Airport.
In the first six months of this year, China-Singapore (Chongqing) Multimodal Transportation Base realized the total operation volume exceeding 14,000 TEU, with a year-on-year growth rate of 21%, and realized the total value of goods in circulation exceeding 4.1 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth rate of 150%.
In addition, the New International Land-sea Trade Corridor (Guoyuan Port) block train has also realized normal operation, reaching 514 ports in 123 countries and regions, and increasing its role of node continuously.
