Recently, heavy rainfall, even torrential downpours, has occurred in various towns and villages in Chongqing. Due to the increased water flow upstream caused by the heavy rain, the water level in Hanfeng Lake and the surrounding rivers and reservoirs has continued to rise. To reduce the flood control pressure upstream, the local authorities quickly initiated an emergency response plan, opening the floodgates of the water level regulation dam in Hanfeng Lake for flood control to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
