Recently, at Flowers and Trees Industry Valley, Jingguan Service Area of Chongqing-Guang’an Expressway, the Flowers and Trees Exhibition and Promotion Activity themed on “A Land of Natural Beauty • A Peasant Travel by Expressway” was held, with various varieties of flowers attracting many travelers to select and purchase.

Jointly built by Beibei District and Chongqing Expressway, China • Chongqing (Jingguan) Flowers and Trees Industry Valley is a major project integrating flowers, trees, traffic and tourism. It is constructed in phases, including the comprehensive trading market of flowers and trees, flowers and trees trading hall, import and export products exhibition and marketing area. When the project is fully completed, an industrial complex integrating “headquarters economy + trading center + ecological construction + rural revitalization” will be formed.

In the flowers and trees trading market, the reporter saw different colors and varieties of roses eye-catching, and some rose varieties were sold for 19.90 yuan per 10 flowers.

“These flowers are transported from Yunnan flower bases via cold-chain through next-day delivery service.” The person in charge of the on-site flower business told the reporter that there were more than 160 varieties of flowers for sale, including the recently hot roses, niche etlingera elatior, and imported princess flowers and Leucospermum.

“I learned from the Internet that there is a flowers and trees exhibition and promotion, so I came to visit when I passed by the service area. Unexpectedly, there are so many varieties of flowers.” Holding the roses and hydrangeas she just bought, Ms. Chen said.

At the event, travelers can not only visit the flower market, but also see bonsai, as well as enjoy snacks and food, local specialties and other exhibits.

In addition, Chongqing Expressway also set up an exhibition area at the site, provided ETC convenience services as well as the brand activity themed on “A Land of Natural Beauty • A Peasant Travel by Expressway”, inviting travelers to participate in interactive lottery and so on.
