These Chongqing athletes listed in Chinese sports delegation for Paris Olympics

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chinese sports delegation for the Paris Olympics was officially established in Beijing on July 13, comprising a total of 716 individuals, among whom 405 are athletes.
The delegation includes 136 male athletes and 269 female athletes, and the average age of the athletes is 25 years old. The eldest athlete was 37-year-old Liu Hong, a track and field athlete, while the youngest was 11-year-old Zhang Haohao, a skateboarder.
Several Chongqing athletes, including Yuan Xinyue (women’s volleyball), Ding Xinyi (rhythmic gymnastics), He Xianghong (track and field), and Xu Shuangshuang (track and field), are included in the Chinese sports delegation for the Paris Olympics. Additionally, international diving referee Rao Lang will also participate in the judging work for the Paris Olympics.
Yuan Xinyue, born in Chongqing on December 21, 1996, was selected for the Bayi team and started her volleyball career in 2009 due to her height advantage and solid athletic foundation. Since 2014, she has gradually emerged as a core member of the Chinese women's volleyball team and crowned champions with the squad in the 2015 World Cup, the 2016 Rio Olympics, the 2017 Grand Champions Cup, and the 2019 World Cup.
He Xianghong joined the Chongqing track and field team in 2019 and was selected to the Chinese team in 2022 due to her outstanding performances. In the same year, he represented China in the World Race Walking Team Championships, nabbing the silver medal in the men's 35km event for the Chinese team.
Xu Shuangshuang, a middle and long-distance runner born in 1996, once studied at Bishan Middle School and was later admitted to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Currently, she is a member of the Shanghai team. The Paris Olympics will be Xu's second time at the Olympics. Born in 2004, Ding Xinyi will make her Olympic debut in Paris. She was picked for the Chinese team in February 2022 and has emerged as a rising star in Chinese artistic gymnastics. She has performed exceptionally well in the World Cup, Asian Championships, and World Championships, winning a total of 19 medals, including nine golds, five silvers, and five bronzes, making her the first Chongqing girl to rank among the Chinese rhythmic gymnastics world champions.
