Campaign between future programming geeks 8,500 teenagers from Chongqing attending the information literacy contest

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Last weekend, in Chongqing Jiangbei High School filled with the atmosphere of technical competition, 8,500 teenagers from over 700 primary and secondary schools in Chongqing participated in the highly anticipated the Chongqing Youth Series of Activities of Information Literacy Science Popularization and Innovation 2024 and National Youth Information Literacy Contest Southwest Regional Contest (Chongqing) 2024.

This contest not only tested the knowledge and skills of teenagers in the field of information technology, but also provided them with a platform to showcase themselves and learn from each other.

The contest was rich and colorful in content, covering three fields: intelligent applications, algorithmic thinking and independent innovation. Specifically, it includes 16 items such as Python programming challenge, graphical programming challenge, Mars survival challenge, unmanned aerial vehicle programming challenge, and intelligent security application challenge. These items not only covered multiple aspects of information literacy, but also kept close pace with the Times, and reflected the current trends and needs of technological development.

Contestants showed a high level of enthusiasm and concentration, and their logical thinking ability, innovative practical ability, as well as impressive teamwork spirit in the contest. Through such competitive platforms, teenagers were allowed to apply the knowledge obtained in the classroom to practice, and their abilities to solve practical problems were also improved.
