CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 25, the Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Commission announced that, except for 6 A-level tourist attractions including the Hongyan Revolution Memorial Hall, the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, the Yangtze River Cableway Scenic Spot, the Gele Mountain Martyrs Cemetery, the Chongqing Science and Technology Museum, and The Underwater Museum of White Crane Ridge, reservations are no longer required to visit the other 297 A-level tourist attractions in Chongqing starting from July 25, 2024, to make it more convenient for visitors entering these scenic spots.
Chongqing has decided that the reservations for 297 A-level tourist attractions are not required from July 25, 2024, in order to further promote the high-quality development of our city's culture and tourism industry, accelerate the transformation and quality improvement of tourist attractions, and make it more convenient for tourists entering the scenic spot. Attractions will implement a maximum capacity control system, allowing visitors to purchase tickets on-site without reservations, provided the maximum capacity is not exceeded. During peak times such as public holidays and weekends, tourist attractions may adopt measures like flow reminder and staggered visiting to ensure that visitors have a good travel experience. Additionally, the city will continue to support online reservation services to provide better services for pre-scheduled visiting and large tour groups. (Translated by Jane, Fathom Language Limited)
