“Doors made in Chongqing” gain popularity in international markets

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to customs statistics, in the first half of 2024, Chongqing’s foreign trade exports amounted to 235.88 billion yuan, up 2.8% from last year.

Many Chongqing companies are seizing opportunities to expand exports. According to Chongqing Mexin Group, in the first half of this year, Mexin exports to the U.S. market reached nearly 50 million yuan; and currently, its export product sales are growing at an annual rate of 7%.

According to reports, this year, Mexin louvered door products have received high praise and strong sales in various regions of Texas and California in the U.S; additionally, Mexin has partnered with Clayton Group, a leading U.S. construction contractor, to promote multiple door products “made in Chongqing” for use in new housings across the country.

While continuously developing the U.S. market, Mexin Group is also targeting emerging markets such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia as destinations for its “product export”.

For instance, in the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor, Mexin Group has supplied over 10,000 doors to the Lao Boten Special Economic Zone, providing services to more than 8,000 local residents; in Cambodia, Mexin Group has provided door products for the Siem Reap New International Airport terminals and the Cambodia APD Bank; and in Bangladesh, Mexin Group has undertaken a door supply project for the expansion and upgrading of the power grid system in Dhaka region.
