CHONGQING (CQNEWS) – On August 6, Chongqing Land Group announced that its subsidiary, Chongqing Green Energy Development, has utilized vacant land and parking lots to build 474 charging and battery swapping stations, including 177 super-charging stations.

One notable project is the Meiye Road Intelligent Super-Charging Demonstration Station, next to the Laifu Smart Medical Industry Park in the Chongqing Economic Development Zone. This plot, idle for over ten years, has been revitalized into an advanced super-charging station that offers comprehensive services. This facility integrates super-charging, battery swapping, photovoltaic energy, energy storage, and car display, serving over 150 vehicles daily.

Currently, the Green Energy Company operates market-oriented cooperative ventures, achieving monthly charging volumes exceeding 3.3 million kWh. The company has also independently developed the Yu Yi Chong app connected to over operators and over 3,000 charging and swapping stations. Through the Yu Yi Chong app, car owners can locate nearby charging and swapping stations in real-time, check the number of fast-charging piles, view usage status, and prices, and navigate to the stations with ease.

To promote the construction of super-charging infrastructure, the Green Energy Company has signed contracts with various districts and counties for 245 urban stations and 33 stations in towns and rural areas. By the end of the year, they plan to build and operationalize over 150 additional super-charging stations, bringing the total to more than 300 and establishing a ‘one-kilometer super-charging circle’ in the central urban area by 2025.
