A person in charge of Chongqing Disabled Persons’ Federation stated that Chongqing athletes competing in Paris Paralympic Games include both seasoned veterans like Liao Keli and Yan Zhiqiang, who have participated in the Paralympics for several times, as well as newcomers such as badminton players Xiao Zuxian and Yang Tong, and the 16-year-old table tennis prodigy Jin Yucheng. Although it is their first time competing in the Paralympics, all of them have previously won gold or silver medals at the 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou.
