The first "Chongqing-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Freight Train”, fully loaded with goods such as auto parts and electronic products, departed from Tuanjiecun Station in Chongqing and will arrive at Yantian Port Area in Shenzhen in two days, where it will transfer to Kwai Tsing Port Area in Hong Kong, and then it will be loaded onto the international liner bound for Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia.

The launch of the “Chongqing-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Freight Train” will strengthen the cooperation among Chongqing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong and help enhance the supply chain efficiency and economic benefits of the Chengdu-Chongqing region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It also marks the official opening of Chongqing Tuanjiecun Station as the 16th inland port for Shenzhen's Yantian Port.

It is learned that since the railway authorities officially implemented the third-quarter’s train diagram, the “Chongqing-Shenzhen Freight Trains” from Chongqing to Yantian Port in Shenzhen have been operated as scheduled, shortening the travel time for trains from Chongqing to Shenzhen from the original five days to two days. The launch of the “Chongqing-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Freight Train” means that there is another new way for the goods from the Chengdu-Chongqing region to be exported overseas.
