CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 11th Yangtze River Three Gorges · Wuxi Hongchiba Bike Race 2024, jointly organized by the Chinese Cycling Association, the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Sports, and the People's Government of Wuxi County, will kick off at the Hongchiba Scenic Area in Wuxi on August 25.

According to the race organizing committee, the entire cycling track is about 7 meters wide, and about 20 kilometers long in total, with the lowest altitude at 1,738 meters and the highest at 2,448 meters. Contestants will start from the Hongchiba Scenic Area Reception Center, go straight along Dengjiawuchang, Hongchiba Resort Hotel, Xinwachang and 024 Township Road, pass by the yunzhonghuahai, and finally reach the finish line at Wanxingcheng, where a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Hongchiba can be seen.

The race includes two categories: mountain bike race and road bike race, each with the men’s elite group, men’s masters group, and women’s open group, involving 316 contestants in total. Contestants from all over the country will gather at the Hongchiba Scenic Area, presenting everyone with a visual feast of "speed and passion".

As an event carefully prepared by the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Sports and the People's Government Wuxi County, the Hongchiba Cycling Race is the only event in Chongqing that has been registered and certified by the Chinese Cycling Association for two consecutive sessions.
