"So cool!" Overseas media reporters praised as they watched rows of smart connected new energy vehicles at Chang's Global R&D Center.

“How long can this car drive?” “How is the power of the car?” “What is the price of this car in our country?”… The reporters bombarded the guide with questions about what they were interested in while visiting the center.

“I once rented a Changan SUV in Mexico. It had a large space that provided a very comfortable driving experience for my family of four. New energy vehicles from Chongqing are being continuously exported to various places of Mexico and are changing the lifestyle of Mexicans,” said Teodoro Raul Rentrea, Vice President of Mexico’s National Press Institute, sharing his story with Changan Auto, and stated that he would record everything he saw at Changan.

“It is a fantastic experience of driving the Changan vehicle, and I really want to own such a cool car,” said Apollinaire Niyerola, a journalist from Burundi National Radio and Television Station, who saw the potential in the development of new energy vehicles through this novel experience.

It is learned that the automotive industry is one of Chongqing’s leading industries. Smart connected new energy vehicles are an important starting point for Chongqing to develop new quality productive forces based on local conditions. In the first half of this year, Chongqing's automobile production reached 1.2142 million, including 391,000 new energy vehicles, making Chongqing rank first in the growth rate of national automobile production among the top ten provinces and cities in China.
