CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- To continuously enhance the popularity, reputation and influence of Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Commission, and to warm up the cultural tourism market during the autumn and National Day "Golden Week," the second Online Influencers’ Tour "Chongqing's Beautiful Scenery in All Seasons- Exploring Southeastern Chongqing" kicked off on September 3.

This activity, hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Commission, aims to organize online influencers to explore and showcase the food and beautiful scenery of Southeastern Chongqing. Through travel experiences, travel guides, and food recommendations, they share and display the unique charm of Southeastern Chongqing online.

Southeastern Chongqing, located in the Wuling Mountains, along the Wujiang River system, is home to generations of Tujia and Miao ethnic groups, with a rich and vibrant ethnic culture and customs; it boasts some world’s natural heritage sites such as the Wulong Karst, and Gold Buddha Mountain in Nanchuan, as well as some national 5A tourist attractions like Taohuayuan in Youyang, Ayi River in Pengshui, and Zhuoshui Ancient Town in Qianjiang and numerous national 4A tourist attractions; the region is also rich in intangible cultural heritages at national and municipal level, including Miao folk songs, playing with wooden leaf, Yangxi opera, Chuanjiang Work Songs, and Nanxi Work Songs. Visitors can also enjoy "Chongqing Flavor 360 Dishes" authentic local delicacies such as Qianjiang chicken giblets, Fuling fish cooked with pickled mustard, Youyang Tujia oil-tea soup, and Pengshui chicken bean curd jelly.

The tour group departed on September 3 for an exciting four-day journey through Southeastern Chongqing. The first stop was in Fuling, where they visited the 816 Project site and Wuling Mountain Grand Canyon, and tasted local dishes recommended by "Chongqing Flavor 360 Dishes." The next day, they ventured into Qianjiang for an in-depth exploration of the Zhuoshui Scenic Area (Puhua Dark River, Zhuoshui Ancient Town) and the Qianjiang Urban Grand Canyon. On the third day, they arrived in Youyang, stepping back in time at Taohuayuan Scenic Area, visiting Squirrel Forest and Youzhou Ancient City, and then heading to Gongtan Ancient Town, described as “a Tang street, a Song city, the home of grandparents," where they encountered romantic pink grass at Dieshi Flower Valley. On the fourth day, they traveled to Pengshui to visit Ayi River, a shining pearl of the Wuling Mountains, and experienced the cool and thrilling rafting and bamboo rafting amidst the picturesque scenery.
